
[miningmx.com] – UK-listed Gem Diamonds recorded an 80% jump in interim revenues on the back of a one-third increase in production from its Letseng mine in Lesotho – a best ever performance, said BDLive.
Citing a company announcement, BDLive said revenue at Letseng increased to $147.8m in the six months ended June 30.
“This has been a strong half-year for Gem Diamonds with one of the best ever performances at LetÅ¡eng,” said the firm’s CEO, Clifford Elphick, who added that GEM was on course to pay a maiden dividend at the year-end.
