
[miningmx.com] – ENDEAVOUR Mining, a gold producer that operates in West Africa, planned to secure a permit for the Hounde prospect, its second mine in Burkina Faso, said Bloomberg News citing the company’s management.
“We have had the public meetings and on the environmental side we’re going exceptionally well’, Endeavour Mining CEO, Neil Woodyer, told Bloomberg News.
Woodyer said Hounde may have reserves to produce 180,000 to 200,000 ounces of gold annually and would need about $300m to develop.
