[miningmx.com] – AQUARIUS Platinum said an employee at the Mimosa Platinum mine in Zimbabwe had been killed whilst working underground. There were no other injuries.
“The relevant regulatory authorities have been informed and a full investigation is underway,” said Aquarius in a statement. Aquarius shares Mimosa Platinum mine in a joint venture with Impala Platinum.
The name of the deceased is being withheld until the next of kin have been informed, the company added.
