[miningmx.com] – THE Association of Mineworkers & Construction Union (AMCU) confirmed it would proceed with a strike at the Rustenburg mines of Impala Platinum, according to a report by Bloomberg News.
Workers made the decision at a union meeting yesterday near Rustenburg in North West province, AMCU Treasurer Jimmy Gama told Bloomberg News. “The timing of a strike isn’t decided,” he said.
