[miningmx.com] – SOUTH African platinum producers Aquarius Platinum and Impala Platinum (Implats) were studying plans to sink a second shaft at their jointly held Mimosa platinum mine, Winston Chitando, chairman of the operation, told Bloomberg News.
“We are in the process of undertaking a feasibility study,’ Chitando said. “There is work taking place in assessing various options,’ he said, declining to give further details.
