Shaft sinkers starts on Kibali underground

[miningmx.com] – SOUTH Africa’s Shaft Sinkers has started work on an underground mine for Randgold Resources’ and AngloGold Ashanti’s Kibali situated in the Democratic Republic of Congo, said Bloomberg News.
The firm won a $132m contract to sink a 760 metre shaft last and would complete it in November 2017, the news agency said.
