[miningmx.com] – SIBANYE Gold is “actively working on” five platinum targets, said Bloomberg News citing the gold firm’s CEO, Neal Froneman.
“We have five targets that we’re actively working on,’ Froneman said. “We’re one of the very few companies that has the operating credibility to do this and the capacity to do it,’ he said.
Froneman is looking at mines valued by their owners at about R5bn to R10bn, but did not plan on paying that much, said the newswire. “That’s what they might be valued at, but why on earth would we pay full value?’ Froneman said.
