[miningmx.com] – LONMIN non-executive directors David Munro and Mahomed Seedat have informed the company they do not wish to be re-elected to the platinum firm’s board at its annual general meeting scheduled for January 30.
“It is not currently intended to replace either of the retiring directors,” said Lonmin in an announcement today.
“David’s technical understanding and experience, always conveyed with an engaging directness, has been an invaluable resource to the Board,” said Roger Phillimore, Chairman of Lonmin.
“Mahomed has provided excellent and tangible support to management and the Board over many years. They both leave with our heartfelt thanks and best wishes,’ he said.
