[miningmx.com] — The department of mineral resources (DMR) said on Thursday its online mineral rights application system would be undergoing scheduled maintenance and upgrade work next week.
“The DMR wishes to alert the public and prospective applicants that the South African Mineral Resources Administration (Samrad) online system will be undergoing scheduled maintenance and upgrade,” read a statement.
“As a result the system will not be available between 07:30 and 16:00 on Monday the 27th and Tuesday, 28th June 2011.
“This maintenance is designed, amongst others, to improve the time within which the system responds to prospective applicants thus improving user experience.
