[miningmx.com] – Neal Froneman, CEO of Sibanye Gold, has been voted CEO of the year by Mines and Money, an annual UK conference and exhibition.
“It is a great honour for me to accept this prestigious award on behalf of the Sibanye team, that I have the pleasure of leading,” said Froneman who this year has embarked on an aggressive expansion programme in platinum and coal.
The Mines and Money advisory panel, which selected Froneman, is comprised of a number of highly regarded global mining industry leaders and pundits, said Sibanye Gold in an announcement.
