[miningmx.com] – MARK Cutifani, CEO of Anglo American, said he would be locked in a room “for as long as it takes” to address the problems between the industry and government, said Business Report citing the Anglo leader.
“I think over the last month, as an industry, we’ve been talking a lot more constructively with the government. I also think the comments by Enoch Godongwana (chairman of the ANC’s economic transformation committee) that there is a trust deficit between the ANC and the mining sector are accurate, and that is a conversation we need to have,” Cutifani told the newspaper.
