[miningmx.com] – DIAMONDS from Zimbabwe’s Marange fields are to be sold in Antwerp in December of January, said Bloomberg News.
This is despite claims by rights groups that the revenue from the Marange diamonds used to finance Zimbabwe president Robert Mugabe’s ruling party.
Citing the Antwerp World Diamond Centre, Bloomberg News said at least 500,000 carats would be sold.
