[miningmx.com] – WATERBERG Coal has raised R24.3m through an issue of equity to Investec Asset Management, said BDLive citing a company announcement.
It has also negotiated a share exchange agreement worth A$4.32m (about R42m) with London-listed Global Resources Investment Trust (Grit), the publication said.
Waterberg Coal controls the Waterberg Joint Venture in which another Johannesburg-listed company, Firestone Energy, has a direct stake.
