Duvha incident won’t lead to loadshedding

[miningmx.com] – A TECHNICAL fault at one of the boilers at Eskom’s 3,600MW Duhva power station had compounded the already tight power grid, but was unlikely to lead to loadshedding, said BDLive citing the power utility.

The publication said in an article that there had been an over pressurisation incident at one of Duvha’s boilers.

“Eskom engineers haven been on site today and have undertaken a preliminary assessment whilst the boiler cools down enough for a full assessment to be undertaken,” said Eskom in a statement.
